Meredith McGeachie

Meredith McGeachie is an award winning actor who has worked extensively on stage, as well as in film and television throughout Canada and the US. In addition to playing lead and supporting roles in films, she has also had regular and recurring roles on various hit television shows such as The L Word, Ties That Bind, Played, Andromeda, and many more. Meredith has worked as a teacher and coach for more than 20 years. She is a professor at Seneca, George Brown College, and she has been faculty at Lesly Kahn and AMAW in Los Angeles.

Her passion is working with actors, helping them learn to trust themselves, gain confidence and discover themselves as artists through the work. Meredith is a proud member of AACE - The Association of Acting Coaches and Educators.

David Reale

David Reale is a Toronto born actor working in film, television and theatre. He starred in the TIFF award winning film, Bang Bang Baby, and is featured in Molly’s Game and Georgetown. David’s television credits include recurring and guest roles on Suits, Murdoch Mysteries, Private Eyes, The Boys, and American Gods.

On stage he starred in My Name is Asher Lev and Annie Baker's John. Other theatre credits include The Great Gatsby and Ghost Stories. He co-produced and starred in Pvt. Wars and The Fatal Gazogene.

David leads classes based in the Meisner technique at the studio of his teacher John Riven and at George Brown College in the Acting for Media and theatre programs. He also facilitates with The Performers Mindset and teaches scene-study/on-camera at MAP.

Chelsea Johnson

An alumnus of Sheridan College’s Music Theatre Performance program, Chelsea has been working in the performing arts for nearly twenty years. Some of her favourite credits include: Anne Of Green Gables, Scene’s From The 19th Hole, A Christmas Carol, A Gift To Last, and Love, Loss, And What I Wore. In 2019, Chelsea co-produced and directed Songs For A New World with We Are Here Productions. Chelsea’s ongoing passion project, Cue To Cue - the performers’ podcast - blends her passion for the arts with connecting with others.

As both an acting and singing coach, Chelsea has worked with artists of all ages and is passionate about arts education. Chelsea is thrilled and honoured to be a teacher at McGeachie Actor’s Practice and is excited to be a part of the MAP community!

Robert Clarke

Robert Clarke graduated from Toronto’s George Brown Theatre School in 1992. He has performed in various regional theatres across Canada, including three seasons with the Shaw Festival, where he met and worked with MAP’s very own, Meredith McGeachie.

Robert has also had recurring roles in numerous television shows, as well as guest roles in various episodic programs, made for TV movies and feature films. He most recently guest starred in Rabbit Hole, and completed a recurring role on Bria Mack Gets A Life.

Robert has developed a passion for teaching and coaching fellow actors, helping them find the simplicity and truth in a scene, while maintaining and bringing to the table their individuality and uniqueness.

Samantha Gracie

Born on the East Coast of Canada, Samantha Gracie moved to Toronto to pursue her career in both TV and film, and as a recording artist. Since then, she has appeared in the cult classic VHS2, BET Centric’s Single Ladies, Netflix’s Hometown Holiday, Wellversed Entertainment’s The Influencers, Hallmark’s The Good Witch and Global’s Private Eyes, to name a few. When not acting, Samantha loves singing, playing guitar, writing and performing musically as well, adding an extra element to her artistry.

Being a part of the MAP community has been a highlight of Samantha’s career and she is passionate about giving back to the school with an open heart and keen eye.

Ian McGowan

After working as an actor across the U.K. for several years, Ian moved to Vancouver in 2015 and began teaching for Anthony Meindl’s Actor Workshop. He went on to teach for AMAW in Toronto, headed up the London (U.K) studio from 2018 and also was sent to teach intensives in Copenhagen, Denmark.

His students and coaching clients can be seen across most networks including HBO, Netflix, BBC, Amazon Prime and ITV. This includes lead roles in series such as Sex Education (Netflix), Raised By Wolves (HBO) and Channel 4’s Hollyoaks, plus prominent guest stars in series including Wandavision (Disney+), Better Caul Saul (AMC), Eastenders (BBC) and many more.

Ian is thrilled to continue working with the faculty and community of MAP that he’s enjoyed collaborating with for several years now and is a passionate advocate for.
